ORG Home and Easy Track Support Arbor Day Foundation to Replant Forests

Get organized and give back to Mother Nature.

As the holiday season gets underway this year, homeowners will be giving a gift to Mother Nature when they get their home organized.

The Stow Company, a company that manufactures custom home organization products under the ORG Home and Easy Track brands, will make a donation to the Arbor Day Foundation to plant one tree on behalf of each customer who purchases an ORG Home or Easy Track organizing solution starting October 1, 2008. These trees will help replenish national forests that have been damaged by wildfires or disease.

The process is quite simple. ORG Home’s nationwide network of authorized dealers, who provide their customer’s name to ORG Home when a purchase is made, will have a tree planted on their customer’s behalf. Customers who purchase an Easy Track organizing system from retail stores or on Easy Track’s web site will complete a brief questionnaire at to make it happen. An Arbor Day certificate is then emailed to participating customers.

The need to plant trees in America’s national forests is great. The U.S. Forest Service has a backlog of 1 million acres that are in need of replanting. 2007 was the second worst forest fire season on record, burning more than 9.3 million acres of land and creating a need for planting millions of trees in national forests around the country.

“We are proud to support the Arbor Day Foundation to replant our national forests as it reflects The Stow Company’s commitment to sustainable business practices to help make homes, communities, and our planet a better place,” says Bill Lown, Vice President of Corporate Sales. “Supporting the foundation’s reforesting effort is a way that we can help future generations enjoy the benefits of trees. They are important not only to help purify our air and clean our water, trees also create beautiful products that fill our homes.”

ORG Home and Easy Track products are manufactured using the most resourceful components of the trees – the core of the panels contain 100% recycled and recovered wood fiber. The panels used to manufacture the products are Environmentally Preferable Product (EPP) certified by the Composite Panel Association (CPA). These panels are the basic products used to build ORG Home and Easy Track organization systems for closets, the kitchen pantry, laundry room, foyer, and the garage. Panels with recycled materials but no added urea formaldehyde are also available to build ORG Home organization systems.

Since 1987, The Stow Company has provided quality solutions that add home value and help customers enhance their lives. ORG Home and Easy Track products help create less stress, less waste, and give customers more time to enjoy life’s pleasures. For more information visit or call 1-800-562-4257.
